How to design a logo?
1. Set the name in a retail typeface
2. Cut off some corners in Illustrator
3. Cash a big check

Did they roll a dice to decide which corners should be rounded?
Isn’t it great? You spend 5 minutes in Illustrator to change that t of Akzidenz  Grotesk and you can sell it as logo.
Seems like designers won’t learn from this Tumblr collection and do it over and over again.

Rounding the bottom left corner has been done a lot already (e.g. Blackberry), so FCB is trying some scissor-cutting on the right side.

Don’t run with scissors! You might accidentally cut off the stem of a letter.

You can have an uninspired cutting-edge logo design and still be the world’s biggest chip maker.

Next time, ask a type designer. They know this stuff.
